Publishing by the ECPR
Since the Consortium's establishment in 1970, publishing research carried out by the profession,
for the profession, has been one the key activities of the ECPR.
Since its first journal, the European Journal of Political Research (EJPR), was launched in 1973
the ECPR has developed a strong portfolio of well-respected journals and book series, working
closely with the world's leading academic and university presses to publish high-quality, cutting edge research.
The ECPR now 'co-publishes' three journals (European Journal of Political Research, European
Political Science and European Political Science Review) and three book series (Studies in
European Political Science, Comparative Politics and Research Methods) in association with
the publishers below.
Alongside the ECPR's co-publishing activities, sits its own publishing imprint, the ECPR Press.
A stand-alone, academic press, it publishes high quality research from throughout the profession.
