The ECPR is not a funding organisation. However, it does have a number of grants and scholarships for people who participate in ECPR organised or sponsored activities, such as the Joint Sessions, General and Graduate Conferences and summer schools:

The ECPR also sponsors six prizes:

  • The Wildenmann Prize for the best paper by a young scholar presented at the Joint Sessions
  • The Jean Blondel PhD Prize for the best dissertation by a scholar in an ECPR member institution.
  • The ECPR Lifetime Achievement Award for an Outstanding Contribution to European Political Science
  • The Stein Rokkan Prize for Comparative Social Science Research
  • The Mattei Dogan Foundation Prize in European Political Sociology
  • The Hans Daalder Prize for the best paper presented at the Graduate Conference
