General Information
On this page, you will find general information about the conference.

Instructions for presenters
All paper presenters will be required to submit their papers to the conference website prior to the conference.
You can now upload your paper for the Graduate Conference. You will need to save your paper as a pdf document. If you do not have access to pdf writer software, please email a word version and we can convert it for you.

To upload your paper, please follow these instructions:

  1. Convert your paper to a pdf document
  2. Save your paper as your Paper ID number (see the academic programme) to find your ID number
  3. Email your paper as an attachment to paperupload@ecprnet.eu

Once your paper has been successfully uploaded, you will be able to click on the link to your paper in the academic programme.
All papers should be uploaded by 15 August at the latest

Papers should include the author’s name(s), University (or other institutional affiliation), and the title of the paper.

Please note that there are no formal guidelines as to the production of your paper. There is no real word limit, but full papers are typically around 20 pages long. The suggested length of papers should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words (approximately 20 single-spaced pages)

Please remember that when presenting your paper you will only have approximately 10 minutes in which to present the main themes. You should also make sure that you circulate copies of your paper to discussant(s) and other panellists in advance of the conference. Paper presenters are also responsible for providing copies of their paper to other attendees.

AV facilities
All panel rooms in the Nursing School building (rooms beginning with “H”) have a projector, a screen and an overhead projector. You will need to bring your own lap top in order to use the PowerPoint facilities. VGA cables are available in the rooms, but if you are bringing a mac, you will need to bring a mac convertor. It would be preferable if you loaded all the papers for the panel on one laptop and used this throughout your panel, rather than disconnecting and then reconnecting different lap tops for each paper.

All rooms in the Business School Building (rooms beginning with “Q”) have projectors, screens, overhead projectors and computers so you will not need your own lap top. You should load your paper on to the computer in advance of your panel, so please try and arrive early.

The room numbers for your panel room will be in the conference programme, which will given to you at registration.

WiFi passwords
Passwords for WiFi and for access to use the PowerPoint facilities will be given out at registration.
